The Belleville 330 DES ST boots (link to Amazon) are made for those looking for boots for the military, multi use boots (boots that can be worn to many different occasions like rucking, hiking, trekking etc), and boots that will live long.

Without further ado, here’s a complete list of features you’ll be getting should you get your hands on the Belleville 340 ST boots:

  • Ar 670-1 Compliant & US Navy Flight Approved
  • Steel Toe (meets ASTM F4212 and F2413-18 standards)
  • Leather
  • Water Resistant
  • Vibram Chevron Outsole

AR 670-1 Compliant & US Navy Flight Approved

What makes boots ar 670-1 compliant? According to the Department of the Army Pamphlet 670-1 which is the guide to the wear and appearance of army uniform and Insigna, the boots must have:

  • A minimum of three eyelets
  • A plain design
  • 8 inches high minimum
  • Made from leather
  • Have a closed toe with the heel no higher than 2 inches.

With that said though, remember that boots are optional wear and you should get the permission of your commander. They should be cool with it though as many people have worn this to the military

These boots are great for people working in physically demanding jobs like police officers or warehouse workers, etc

Steel Toes

The Belleville 330 ST boots have steel toe protection that meets ASTM F2412-18 and F2413-18 standards for impact & compression and EH rated. Otherwise, why should you care about have steel toe boots? Here are a few reasons why:

  • Prevents foot injuries
  • Increases safety without sacrificing comfort
  • Steel toe shoes typically come with more comfort features (discussed below)
  • Designed to last long

Water Resistant

The Belleville 330 ST boots are made from leather and water resistant. This might not sound too important but you never know what the weather will look like day to day and have a water resistant boot will prevent your feet from getting wet and make your feet more susceptible to blisters.

Vibram Chevron Outsole

Similar to the Garmont T8 Bifida boots, The outsole of these boots are made from rubber Vibram Chevron. Vibram is a well-known brand of boot outsole and are great because they are:

  1. Slip resistant
  2. Long lasting
  3. Waterproof

These are essential features for most occasions.
